    • Can I participate in Roda a TMB if I am not 18 years old yet?

      No. To be able to enter a short film into Roda a TMB, you must be at least 18 years old.
    • I am not a member of JoTMBé. Can I enter the contest?

      To enter a short film into Roda a TMB you must be part of JoTMBé. If you are not a member yet, you can register at the time of submitting your short film. Simply follow the instructions in the section Enter your short film.
    • Can I enter more than one short film?

      Yes, you can submit as many short films as you want, as long as they are original, unpublished and meet the Requirements for participation.
    • Do TMB transports have to appear in the short film?

      One way or another, TMB transports must appear in the short film. TMB’s facilities do not have to be the main setting where the story takes place, but they do have to play a leading role.
    • Is it mandatory to shoot at TMB facilities?

      Shooting at TMB’s facilities is not mandatory, but you have to keep in mind that somehow TMB transports have to appear in the short film.
    • Do I need a shooting permit to shoot in TMB’s facilities?

      You only need to apply for a shooting permit if you want to shoot in any of these locations: facilities and interior of the metro, interior of the bus, interior of the Barcelona Bus Turístic, facilities or interior of the Montjuïc Cable Car, or station or interior of the Montjuïc Funicular. To shoot at a bus stop or at a stop of the Barcelona Bus Turístic you do not need to apply for a shooting permit.
    • Do I need a shooting permit to shoot outside the entrance to the metro or at a bus stop?

      No, to shoot outside the entrance to the metro or at bus stops you do not need a shooting permit. You only have to request a permit if you want to shoot in the facilities and interior of the metro, inside the bus, inside the Barcelona Bus Turístic, at the facilities or inside the Montjuïc Cable Car, or at the station or inside the Montjuïc Funicular.
    • If I want to shoot in more than one location, do I have to apply for more than one permit?

      No, you only need to apply for a single shooting permit. When you request it, you will find the option to indicate the different locations where you want to shoot your short film.
    • Is there a special schedule for shooting at TMB's facilities?

      Yes, schedules have been set for shooting at TMB's facilities. In the metro, bus and Montjuïc Funicular, shooting takes place exclusively from Monday to Thursday, except holidays, between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. At the Barcelona Bus Turístic and the Montjuic Cable Car, shooting takes place exclusively from Monday to Thursday, except holidays, between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
    • What are the coronavirus prevention measures that must be followed during the shoot?

      In order to prevent contagion, all coronavirus measures that have been established on public transportation must be followed. Check them before planning your shoot to make sure you abide by all of them.
    • Can I take off my mask during the shoot at TMB's facilities?

      No. All coronavirus prevention measures must be followed during the shoot, including the requirement to wear a mask at all times. This measure applies to all team members, including actors.
    • When can I vote for the short films that take part in Roda a TMB?

      The period to vote for the short films participating in Roda a TMB is from December 1 to 15, 2020.
