Subtravelling: 15 years connecting cinema and public transport
An initiative by TMB to bring together public transport, culture, and new audiovisual talent.
A pioneering festival that brings short films into the metro and other TMB transport networks.
A festival that is both a competition — Roda a TMB — and an international showcase of high-quality short films — La Mostra — almost unique in the world for presenting public transport as both a set and a source of inspiration for countless stories.
15 years of constant evolution
15 years of constant evolution
Subtravelling was born in 2009 as a short film showcase, but soon expanded its reach: it created Roda a TMB to merge cinema and public transport, and to promote emerging cinematic talent.
In 2016, it partnered with the Seoul Metro International Subway Film Festival (SMIFF), the only other film festival in the world where the metro plays the lead role.

Audience votes will decide the award for best short film in La Mostra Internacional.
