For the past 30 years, ESCAC has been dedicated to discovering and nurturing the talent of young filmmakers. At ESCAC, we train storytellers. We teach how to tell stories through any of the disciplines offered at the school. The careers of graduates such as Juan Antonio Bayona, Javier Ruiz Caldera, Mar Coll, Laura Pedro, Elena Trapé, or Dani de la Orden, among many others, are proof of this.

Filmax is a film production company that also runs major cinemas located in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. It awards the prizes for the public votes in La Mostra, such as movie tickets and a year of free cinema, and it also hosts the awards ceremony.

Created to be the unified voice of Catalan cinema, it brings together all creative and production sectors of the industry. One of the jury members is part of the academy, contributing professional expertise and prestige to the Subtravelling festival.

La Xarxa, a network of over fifty local TV stations across Catalonia, broadcasts Roda a TMB shorts through its affiliated stations and via La Xarxa+, a free online platform for local content that already has over 150,000 registered users.

An independent American film festival that, since 2013, has been showcasing auteur films by young U.S. talents at Girona, Zumzeig and Phenomena cinemas. For this edition, the festival’s director and TMB employee, Josep Maria Machado, will serve on the Roda a TMB jury.

Focused on auteur cinema and emerging talents, this festival is 100% based in Barcelona. It hosts screenings at Aribau Cinemas and the CCCB, including a special session featuring the winning and finalist shorts from Roda a TMB during the D’A – Festival de Cinema de Barcelona. It will also provide professional accreditations and passes for D’A 2026.

An international short film festival that features fiction, animation, and documentary genres. Agustí Argelich, the organizer of this festival, will join the Roda a TMB professional jury and serve as curator of La Mostra Internacional.
