ULTIMO SEGUNDO

Miguel, a 24-year-old man dressed in an impeccable suit, desperately runs to reach the station on time. That day, he has an important job interview in Barcelona, and he knows that missing the train could also mean losing an important opportunity for his future.

After rushing through the streets, he finally reaches the platform just as the train is about to leave. The doors begin to close, but Miguel manages to slip inside the carriage at the very last second.

Inside, he finds an almost completely empty train, except for Andrea, a young woman sitting on the other side of the carriage. What begins as a casual conversation between two strangers slowly takes a different turn when Andrea asks him a simple question: what would have happened if he had missed that train?

Miguel has never really thought about it. To him, arriving on time simply meant continuing with his day, attending the interview and moving forward with his life. However, Andrea's question makes him consider for the first time how that small moment could have changed everything that was happening.

The story then takes us to another timeline. Once again, Miguel runs towards the station, but this time a small setback causes him to arrive a few seconds later. By the time he reaches the platform, the doors have already closed, leaving him to watch as the train departs without him.

Resigned, Miguel walks towards one of the benches on the platform. There, he finds a book that someone has left behind. When he picks it up and looks at it closely, he discovers a name written inside—a name that, in this reality, means nothing to him yet: Andrea.
