Trapped in the machinery of routine, a young man boards the metro every day to bear the weight of daily life. The commute becomes a mirror of his own existence, torn between two forces: the outbound journey, driven by the tension, rush, and pent-up energy of someone heading off to meet their obligations; and the return trip, a physical and mental descent where, half-asleep and fighting exhaustion, he tries to keep his eyes open until reaching the safety of home. Through this sway between train cars, the underground transit mutates, ceasing to be merely a reminder of academic or work-related drudgery to transform into a fleeting threshold toward reunions, beach getaways, and nights out. An everyday, pendulous journey about how to survive the weight of monotony by finding small flickers of life between stops.
