For Monica, the subway is not just her daily commute to work, but the point where reality and interpretation intersect. Pushed to the limit by sleep deprivation, her memory lapses turn into a suffocating loop as the platforms and train cars transform into recreations of iconic subway scenes from fictions like Squid Game, Joker, Men in Black, and Ghost. Unable to decipher where her exhaustion ends and the script begins, Monica attempts to break the fourth wall to stop the spiral, only to discover that she ends up crashing into the fine line separating her own mind from the film set's fiction.
